Conditions of Acceptance to Advertisers The Jersey Evening Post only accepts advertisements for publication subject to the following conditions: The publisher does not accept liability for any loss or damage caused by (a) an error, inaccuracy or omission in the printing of an advertisement:All advertisements are accepted subject to the contents being approved by the management. Reversed advertisements (white on black) will only be accepted provided they do not exceed 20 square centimetres in total. Larger advertisements may contain no more than 25% of their total area in reverse. The management reserves the right to refuse an advertisement even though accepted and/or prepaid or to make any alteration that may be deemed necessary. Notice of cancellation of an advertisement must be received at least 48 hours prior to publication and will be accepted by telephone but must be confirmed in writing within 48 hours except in the case of Front Page Solus Positions where 7 days notice in writing is required. In the case of features, cancellation must be received before the relevant sales deadline. Non compliance of these cancellation periods will incur the cost of the space booked. It is the responsibility of the advertiser to check the correctness of each insertion of an advertisement. No responsibility can be assumed for the repetition of an error in an advertisement unless notification is received immediately an error occurs. Copy for all display advertisements and alterations to existing advertisements must be received at the JEP, Five Oaks office no later than 4.45pm, 2 days prior to publication. The deadline for Classified advertisements is Noon the day prior.
