A step by step guide to what, where and how, when advertising in the Jersey Evening Post
Step 7
Saving your advertisement in the correct format for use by the Jersey Evening Post
The Jersey Evening Post only accept files saved in the following formats.
You will be given a Unique Reference Number (URN) when you book your advertisement (eg JS332345.EPSF). Please save your file with this number.
Files must be saved as EPS (Encapsulated Post Script). This renders your artwork unchangeable.
All fonts must be embedded.
All images contained in the artwork should be high resolution (200dpi recommended).
If the artwork is in full colour, all images must be in CMYK format.
Files must not contain OPI (open pre-press interface) comments.
Data should be binary format not ASCII.
We will not accept compressed JPEG images or PDF files.
We recommend the use of a flight-check programme which will point out any potential problems before you send in your artwork.
We can accept artwork via ISDN, ADS or on Zip disks, floppy disks or CD-ROMS.
