The States of Jersey issued a statement on Friday evening in which it said environmental protection officers were formally investigating reports of pollution in the marina, under the Water Pollution (Jersey) Law, 2000.
The statement added: ‘As an investigation is under way nothing more can be said about the incident until the investigation is complete.’
