The pensioner sustained a suspected broken ankle when she was hit by a black Toyota Rav 4 at the junction of Devonshire Place and Great Union Road just after 4pm on Wednesday.
The car was being driven by a 48-year-old woman.
The States police say that no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
