Summer’s not over yet – temperatures of up to 28°C forecast for the Bank Holiday weekend

Much of August has been cool and wet, with rain recorded every day between the 3rd and 19th of the month. But high pressure is now building back in – and will send temperatures into the mid to high 20s.

Jersey Met is forecasting a top temperature of 28°C on Saturday, 25°C on Sunday and 26°C on Monday.

Duty forecaster Fraser Ralston said: ‘The best of the sunny weather will be over the next couple of days. It does look like it may be a little bit cloudier at times over the weekend, but it will become warmer and really will feel quite pleasant, especially given the weather we have had over the last couple of weeks.’
