Cricket: Trophy retained with final-over triumph

The visitors were set a target of 205 to win on Sarnian soil after Guernsey opener Matt Stokes reached 72, and Jersey looked comfortable with their top four taking them to 93 for 2.

However, the wheels began to fall off when Guernsey bowler Max Ellis struck twice in one over, and it was down to Jake Dunford (28 no) to help see the Caesareans over the line, having come in at 163/6.

Peter Gough top scored for Jersey, with 40.
