Guingamp, who are in Jersey for several days because of the break in their playing season for the festive period, trained inside Springfield Hall this morning as the outdoor facilities at the FB Fields in St Clement were waterlogged.JFA adminstrator Gill Morgan said: ‘The game is definitely on.

Guingamp officials are keen to play, they’ve seen the pitch and they are happy with it and the facilities.’There has been surface water on the pitch all morning and the current wind should help dry it a bit this afternoon.

‘Referee Steve Landick has inspected the surface and he is happy to play on it.’The match at Springfield starts at 6 o’clock.
