SCF cruised to an eight wicket victory to bring them level with their opponents, St Ouen.

The Westerners won the toss and elected to bat.

Ward Jenner top-scored with 44 but good bowling against his old club by Mark Reynolds, with figures of 3 for 22, restricted St Ouen to 87 for 5 in their 12 overs.In reply SCF took their victory in 10.2 overs.

Matt Hague and Steve Carlyon did the damage, scoring 40 and 34 no respectively.At FB1 strugglers St John put Air Conditioning in to bat but were made to pay as James Mashiter, 42, and Ian Carter, 49 not out, helped their side to an impressive 143 for 5.

S Woolley for St John scored 31, but with Nigel Crocker conceding only eight runs from his three overs, the parishioners could only score 94 for 7.AirCon were reduced to ten men during the St John’s innings when Mashiter was injured as he attempted a catch.In the third game, at FB2, Beeches beat Abacus by 8 wickets with a score of 86/2 in reply to Abacus’s 85/6.Beeches top scorer was Hackland with 30 runs; Ritchie took both wickets for 35 off 3 overs.

For Abacus Williams scored 25 while Khan’s figures were 2 for 9 off 3 overs.
