The youngster beat Guri Poulsen of the Faroes 11-4, 11-1 to set up a quarter-final with Greenland’s Suzanne Wallbohm which she dominated 11-4, 11-2.

Agathangelou then faced Elena Johnson, one of Guernsey’s two semi-finalists.Krystle Matthews went out at the quarter-final stage to Gotland’s Helena Nirs 11-5, 11-6, having earlier beaten Anja Skov of Greenland 11-2, 11-3.

Tracy Hudson lost to Helena Skov 11-3, 11-2 in the second round.Chris Cotillard, the sole remaining Jersey player in the men’s singles, fell 2-1 to Erik Poulsen of the Faroes by the incredible scoreline of 0-15, 15-0, 15-0.Cotillard and Agathangelou reached the quarter-finals of the mixed doubles before losing to Guernsey’s Sally Wood and Kevin Le Moigne 15-10, 12-6.Daniel Toft and Tracy Hudson scratched to Guernsey’s Paul Le Tocq and Sarah Garbutt in the last 16 and Jodie Mercier and David Luce went out at the same stage, losing to Greenland’s Helena Skov and Frederick Bagger 15-11, 15-10.Matthews and Carter were edged out in the last 32 by the Isle of Wight pair Insley and Gray (15-7, 12-15, 15-13).
