Nathan Jégou held off a challenge from AIB Tigers club-mates Alexis Militis and Daniel Halksworth to take the men’s title.Fifteen-year-olds Emma and Katy Collins touched together to clinch the ladies’ race, just metres ahead of last year’s winner Katie Speller.Jégou, the more recognised long-distance swimmer of the three Tigers, topped the 71-strong field – 39 men and 32 women – in a time of 19 min 41 sec.
