Bon Air Nursing Home’s theatre has shut and private health care provider BUPA will no longer allow any of their patients to be treated at the St Saviour clinic.Exact reasons why the centre failed local and national inspections are not being released, but it was confirmed this morning that directors of the company were given the option to close voluntarily or be closed down by Health and Social Services.Nobody from Health was able to comment, as members of the committee were in the States, but it was Health that initiated an inspection in May.
It was headed by a member of the UK government body NCSC – the National Care Standards Commission – who oversee inspections to private health centres nationwide.
