Rebours swam a season’s best in the girls’ 400m individual medley to finish 16th overall and place her inside the top 15 in Britain for her age group.With a strong first 300m Rebours found the fast-finishing freestylers tough to compete with but was still happy with her performance.Tigers coach Matt Magee said: ‘The plan will be to spend considerable time this summer working on Victoria’s freestyle – something she knows we have to do.’Hassell also competed in the girls’ 400m IM and produced a new personal best of 5 min 41.86 sec.

She had a good backstroke and breast-stroke to bring her home with a ranking of 28th overall.Eleven-year-olds JJ Gallichan and Emily Cope arrive in Sheffield today ahead of competitions in their top events tomorrow.Gallichan goes in the 400m IM and Cope in the 800m freestyle while Rebours will feature in the tightly contested 100m breast-stroke.
