The U21s will be looking to retain the silverware at Grainville while their senior colleagues are in Guernsey where they will be hoping to regain the trophy lost last year with just one-and-a-half overs to go.

Both are tomorrow and both are 55-overs-a-side.Jersey U21s won convincingly last year and they retain the bulk of their victorious team with captain Peter Gough having many options available to him.

The home team have not won the O40s match for the past five years so with Jersey away they will hope that run continues at the KGV Field.Guernsey had the benefit of two or three available in the age-group for the first time last year while Jersey are again similar this time round.They have four players who have all been performing well for the Channel Islands Over-50s team at inter-county level, including bowler Barry Middleton who excelled in midweek with a five-wicket haul in St Ouen’s NatWest Evening League Division I play-off victory, against Sporting Club Franais, at Grainville.Jersey U21s: Peter Gough (captain), Rohan Mohanty, Jonny Gough, Andrew Dewhurst, Kevan Crowell, Tom Minty, Daniel Bertram, Danny Blasco, Tom Perchard, Martin Higgins and Richard Anthony.
