Mário Bruno Catanho (22), known as Bruno, died on Saturday 26 July in Ribeira Seca, Machico.
He was the youngest of three brothers.
In January he went to live with his mother in Lisbon, but in May he returned to Madeira.A report in a local Madeiran paper, Diário de Not’cias, says that Bruno Catanho was hit by a bullet aimed at his older brother during an argument.It is alleged that the shot was fired by a man aged about 40 years, nicknamed the Russian.
He remained at the scene and handed over his firearm without resistance.
