Gerry Leonard, Ian Anderson, Alison Horsfall, Michael Lucas, Steve Toudic and Simon Dowling will be attempting the marathon relay in an attempt to keep the time below nine hours.
And, if they are successful, they will be looking to swim between Jersey and Guernsey or Jersey to France followed by a round-Jersey swim next summer.
