Man accused of attempting to murder his wife

José Caboz (33) is alleged to have stabbed his wife Maria five times at her Colomberie home on 18 April 2002.He also faces an accusation of committing a grave and criminal assault on her at the Luxicabs car park on 16 March last year.This morning some 65 witnesses for the prosecution and five for the defence, including Caboz himself, were being sworn in.The Assize trial is expected to last for two weeks.
