Carole-Anne Robins, who is organising a Bumper Jumble and Bric-à-Brac Sale at St Martin’s Public Hall on Saturday, 15 November, hopes that Islanders will be willing to support the campaign by offering toys, books, clothes, prizes and items for the white elephant stall.As well as asking them to donate goods, she is inviting them to come along on the day and look for items which interest them.Starting at noon, the sale, being run by Ms Robins and her family and friends, is likely to continue until 3 pm, with Stuart Young keeping bargain hunters refreshed with drinks and food from his van.
