The tenants have been contacted by the Housing Committee and told to clear the overdue rents within 14 days.
Housing say that they are owed around £800,000 in back rent and that they are starting to get tough on the issue.The news follows the announcement yesterday that the committee are putting CCTV cameras in buildings on troubled estates and will move families whose children persistently misbehave.
