Scott Eastwood and Andy Cummins have been on the Headworx BPSA UK Surf Tour this season and, having finished respectively in 16th and 17th places overall, are on the list of invitees with fellow top-20 surfers from the tour.The surfers will have their flight, accommodation and food paid for by the sponsors and will compete against the top eight Sri Lankan surfers, four wild cards and four qualifiers from the trials, which will be made up from the top four local surfers at each event on the BPSA Tour.Arugam Bay is near Pottuvil in the south east of Sri Lanka and the right-hand waves that break in the bay are legendary.
The wind is predominantly offshore between May and October.
