The court heard that Sarah Audoire had been forced into being a courier on a threat of death and had won a four-year battle to beat her heroin addiction, but concluded that prison was the only answer.Announcing sentence, the Deputy Bailiff, Michael Birt, said: ‘The fact is that you brought in this substantial amount of heroin that could have caused a lot of suffering to a large number of young people in Jersey.’Audoire (27), of Jersey, was caught with 130 grammes of heroin concealed internally after getting off a flight from Leeds Bradford Airport on 20 August this year.The Deputy Bailiff was sitting with Jurats de Veulle, Quérée, Le Brocq, Le Breton, Georgelin and Allo.
