Garden debate gets to Public Hall

The meeting is being held to inform the public of the latest developments in the process to restore the sub-tropical gardens.The chairman of La Chaire Trust, Judith Quérée, is hoping that the meeting will reassure those who have concerns about the project.She said: ‘We are hoping to get rid of some of the myths and explain what is going on.

We also want people to have a chance to air their views, ask questions and have things clarified on issues like parking.’There will be a short presentation by the project management team before questions will be invited from the floor.The meeting, which will be chaired by the Constable, John Germain, will start at 8 pm.
