The report – probably the most rigorous ever conducted in the Island – will be launched by the Jersey Financial Services Commission and the Policy and Resources Committee at the same time as reports are released in Guernsey and the Isle of Man.The assessment in this Island was carried out in September last year by a team of nine experts and has already been referred to as ‘a clean bill of health’ by the commission.Addressing the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners conference on Friday, commission chairman Colin Powell said that the Island’s record of compliance had been commended by the IMF: ‘It is a good news story to add to all the other good news stories,’ he said.
