Island squad player Luc Le Mière took his season’s total to 19 goals with a hat-trick as Grouville won 5-2 against St Brelade at Les Quennevais.Peter Hall, after a pass by Murray Dron, shot Grouville into a fourth-minute lead before Danny Richardson made it 1-1 soon after from a long-range effort after a mix-up in Grouville’s defence.Le Mière controlled the ball on his chest before volleying home from 20 yards to make it 2-1 on the stroke of half time and minutes after the interval it was 3-1 when Mark Walmsley finished powerfully from 15 yards.St Brelade bundled home a second through Ashley Lewis from a corner kick before Le Mière completed the scoring with a left-foot drive from 25 yards.Grouville play Rozel Rovers Reserves next Tuesday at Les Quennevais with the victors gaining a place in the final at Springfield on Tuesday 8 December against St Clement.
