Two building firms involved in the construction of the Le Masurier’s car park were each fined £5,000 and ordered to share the Crown’s £2,500 costs.

The first two floors of the building are for customers of the Grande Marché and the remaining floors are for permit holders only.Camerons Ltd were ordered to pay their fine immediately and H&U Industries Ltd were ordered to pay regular installments for two years because of the company’s precarious financial state.

They admitted breaking Article 9 of the Public Health (Control of Building) Law.
