Ian Stuart Channing (56), of Marina Avenue, denies possessing equipment for forging paper money and forging cash with intent to defraud.Channing also pleaded not guilty to driving without insurance in Marina Avenue on 8 October, displaying an insurance disc with the wrong J-number displayed on it with intent to defraud and making three copies of an insurance disc with intent to defraud.
The court heard from the prosecution that the defendant was planning to defend himself.
