At a meeting of the States Tenants Action Group last night tenants voted overwhelmingly in favour of a vote against the committee after voicing their fears about changes to the rent rebate scheme.Deputy Judy Martin said she was considering moving a vote of no confidence against Deputy Le Main, whom she branded ‘a spineless jellyfish’ for failing to attend the meeting at the Town Hall.
Both she and Deputy Geoff Southern alleged that Deputy Le Main did not tell the full story when he successfully proposed the rent rebate reduction in the States.But this morning Deputy Le Main strongly denied misleading anyone.
