Although Jersey’s Economic Development Committee – under its ‘open skies’ policy – has given the airline an unconditional licence to sell seats between Jersey and Guernsey on ‘triangular’ flights to or from the UK, the Guernsey Transport Board has decided to continue restricting Flybe.As it did in Jersey, Flybe recently applied to Guernsey’s air licensing authority to lift a condition which limited the airline to selling inter-island tickets to within 30 minutes of departure.
