As briefly reported, the Jersey Finance Industry Association (JFIA), which represents nine professional associations, will merge with Jersey Finance Ltd, the company set up to promote Jersey as an international finance centre.

The Economic Development Committee has agreed to increase its total budget, from £400,000 in 2003 to £600,000 in 2004.
