Successful were the men’s fours, Thomas Greechan, John Lowery, Alan Shaw and Jamie MacDonald who beat Trebert, Dorey, Collins and Le Ber 20-17; John Lowery who won the men’s U25s, beating Daniel de la Mare 21-11; and Lindsey Greechan who won the ladies U25s against Lianna Bichard 21-15.
The winners will represent the CI at the men’s and women’s British Isles championships.
HOCKEY: JMHA Senior Cup games were played at the weekend, with JHC Gobis beating OV Veterans 12-1 while Victoria College 1st XI beat Hautlieu HC 5-3; Evolution OV Convicts beat OV Victims 8-2 while in the all-JHC match Thornbacks beat Ormers on 4-2 penalty strokes.
The score was 2-2 at full time.
In rearranged Division II matches JWHA beat JHC Lions 4-0 and Crusaders beat Victoria College 2nd XI 5-3.
