Deutsche Bank Offshore Performance training has been taking place on a weekly basis for 20 youngsters in this age group and a programme of match-play against visiting team Reigate and local clubs has also been organised mid-week and at weekends.A young squad of thirteen girls has been chosen to make the trip, many of whom will be representing Jersey in an inter-island match for the first time.The squad is captained by Beckie Slater who is the most experienced player in the squad, and she is supported by Fiona Anderson as vice captain.Squad:Ashley Austin GK (JCG); Sarah Le Mesney (Beaulieu), Lynsey Pitman, Harriet Simon, Alice Le Feuvre (all JCG), Laura Catterson(Beaulieu), Becky Slater (Captain), Laura Ferrara (both JCG), Fiona Anderson (vice captain, Le Rocquier), Gemma Dawkins, Aleisha Duffy Breen (both JCG), Grace Bailey (Hautlieu), Catherine Maclachlan (JCG).The match is being held at Footes Lane and starts at 11 am.
