About 62 per cent said they would definitely return for another holiday while 65 per cent had nothing to complain about.The research was carried out in August and September and 275 groups and individuals were interviewed by research company Direct Input as they left from the harbours or the Airport.Over 55 per cent had travelled on low air fares with a third paying £50 or less.

About 25 per cent had purchased tickets over the internet.

Half stayed five nights or less.

Most longer stays were in August, with shorter breaks more popular in September.The most popular tourist attraction was the Zoo, which 40 per cent visited, and 37 per cent went to the Jersey War Tunnels.

Just over one third had been to Jersey Pearl.
