Police may soon make arrests in abuse cases

And police say that there is a possibility of some arrests ‘fairly soon’ once evidence has been examined by legal advisers.

So far, the States police have visited alleged victims in Spain, Germany, the UK and in the Island, and two officers are due to travel to Australia to interview potential witnesses there.

This week, three members of the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary are due to join the team based at police headquarters led by Deputy Chief Officer Lenny Harper. Their arrival will take the total number of officers and civilian staff involved in the inquiry to 15.
