Richard Wilson, the director of the UK group Involve, said that everything was above board, but he can understand why Islanders may have had concerns.
‘Imagine Jersey 2035 was difficult because the decisions to be taken are about long-term issues,’ he said. ‘When looking at retirement homes, there are many influencing factors, such as immigration, healthcare and tax.’
