Among them is the Gorey Youth Project which received a grant of £19,621 for part funding of a full-time youth worker.
Principal youth officer Shirley Costigan said that this grant would be of great assistance towards the introduction of a one-year pilot scheme to appoint a full-time youth worker.
The youth club is overseen by an advisory committee chaired by John Le Maistre and run by part-time and voluntary staff.
