SOME things just never change. Monday 19 May, upon arrival from Exeter at 5.50 pm, not a taxi or cab in sight. Well over 30 people, some with young children, in the queue waiting.
I was about sixth in line and after about 20 minutes got a taxi. I have no idea how long those behind me had to wait.
I expect those responsible will offer numerous excuses for this total lack of service. However, the fact is that the taxi rank was completely deserted.
Let me add that upon arrival we were the only flight collecting baggage, so there had hardly been a rush on.
