JERSEY Classic and Modern Trials Club rider Graham du Feu won the third round of the British Bike Pre 65 Trials Championship in Gloucestershire last weekend.
The trial was held over a course of approximately 25 miles at Sallywood Park and the surrounding countryside. There were 13 sections, all mainly muddy, and a further 22 out on the road.
Du Feu, riding his 500 cc Ariel, lost a total of just eight marks which not only resulted in him winning the blue ribbon Pre Unit class but the event overall, seeing off even the lightweight two-stroke bikes.
The current British champion, who will not be competing in the rest of the Championship because he has elected to compete in selected UK and European events, was accompanied by three other Jersey riders.
