Harrison melts hearts to become Spring Babe

THE blond curls and the big blue eyes of Harrison Law melted the hearts of most of the 1,000 JEP readers who voted for this year’s Spring Babe.

The two-year-old has won this year’s JEP Spring Babes Competition which attracted 189 entrants from the parents of bonny babies and toddlers around the Island.

Harrison’s proud mother Julie and father Simon, who live in Longueville Road, St Saviour, thanked everyone who voted for their youngest son in the competition, which was run in association with Steve Wellum photographers. Mrs Law said that it was her husband Simon who put Harrison’s name forward.

‘We were very surprised and so pleased that he won. He is a very good boy and such a delight,’ she said. Harrison loves to play football and with his cars. He also loves going to his nana and papa’s house to play with their dog Pippin.’

The runners up in the competition, which was open to youngsters aged up to 18 months, were seven-month-old Poppy-Anne Elcock and 13-month-old Kimberley Sanders. They were chosen from nearly 200 children whose photographs were published in the JEP and readers were then invited to cast their vote.
