AFTER reading John Christensen’s usual rant about Jersey’s finance industry (JEP, 18 July) and some of the subsequent letters in your paper, I have to ask why people are even remotely concerned about the opinions of Attac or the Tax Justice Network.
Their views are based upon outdated and inaccurate information compiled by people who don’t even work in Jersey’s finance industry.
And besides, if there was any truth in any of their claims, Jersey would have been closed down as a finance centre years ago.
