Local firms bid for dairy project

OVER 60 Jersey firms have stepped forward to bid for contracts on the new Jersey Dairy complex.

In the first event of its kind, local firms were invited to a ‘meet the contractor’ event organised by Jersey Enterprise.

Maidenhead-based TSL Projects, which specialises in building food and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, was selected by Jersey Dairy to be the main contractor .

The list of sub-contracts up for grabs included steel reinforcement, concrete laying, window glazing, lift installation, landscaping, crane and tool hire, electrical and plumbing supplies, and hotels to provide accommodation for around 20 staff from the UK.
