JERSEY-based listed home shopping company Flying Brands is no longer in takeover talks.

The potential buyers, private equity firm West Coast Capital, announced on Friday that they had been unable to reach agreement with the board of Flying Brands on the terms of the bid.

The share price tumbled by 16.4% to 30.5p on the announcement — the lowest since the company was floated 15 years ago.

Flying Brands is incorporated in Jersey and also has a UK holding company. The packing and plug plant operation is at Retreat Farm in St Lawrence, with the marketing and administration based in Chelmsford.
