THE newest, youngest, most fresh-faced arrivals in many schools are ready targets for the waiting bullies.
My advice to Deputy-elect Jeremy Maçon is to not let himself be picked on by that ink monitor, Deputy Geoff Southern.
He should bide his time, watch, listen and learn, and he could well end up a prefect – while the ink monitor will have long before been demoted to clearing out the lost property cupboard.
