Marilyn Monroe exhibition opening night

THE glitz and glamour of ‘old Hollywood’ came to the Island at the weekend.

Jersey Museum played host to more than 260 people on Friday night – including the Bailiff, Sir Philip Bailhache and the Lieutenant-Governor, Lieutenant-General Andrew Ridgway – to celebrate the launch of the largest exhibition of film costumes and memorabilia belonging to Marilyn Monroe that the world has ever seen. All of the items belong to Jersey collector David Gainsborough Roberts.

In the Island for the event were Marilyn lookalike Suzie Kennedy, and Josh Greene, the son of Milton Greene who did numerous photo-shoots with Marilyn and was the executive producer for her film The Prince and The Showgirl.
