KnowLove3 aims to educate people about what is and isn’t love, to empower sufferers and to eliminate domestic abuse.
During the campaign, which will be launched this spring, the refuge will hold workshops with schools and businesses. Islanders will also be able to buy gifts which will support women and children at the refuge. The gifts range from an adventure kit for children to a counselling session.
All the money raised will go directly towards the running costs of the refuge.
Marie Vibert, fundraiser for the refuge, said: ‘What this charity achieves each year is astounding, but fundraising is a huge challenge for us because domestic abuse is not something people want to talk about. We want the whole community to make a stand to end domestic violence in Jersey.’
