St Aubin Car Sales recently took delivery of a Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Roadster, which was brought over for the promotion of a recent Katherine Jenkins concert.
And if there was one thing more eye-catching than its bright-blue paintwork, it was the price tag – as the car is almost as expensive as the average Jersey house.
Peter Chapman, owner of St Aubin Car Sales, said: ‘There was a lot of interest in this car.
‘It is very rare – only 500 were made and there is a five-year waiting list for one.
‘I can’t say that it was the most expensive car in the Island – but it definitely was the most expensive car for sale.’
Although the vehicle is no longer on the forecourt, the garage is now displaying a Ferrari and is due to take delivery of more high-performance cars in the coming weeks and months.
