The 12-year-old was in collision with a VW Polo, driven by a 19-year-old woman, in Petite Route des Mielles at about 3.15 pm on Monday.
Paramedics were called out and are understood to have treated the child at the scene.
It is not yet known whether the child was taken to hospital.
