Jane Ann de la Haye (49), of Green Road, is alleged to have committed the offence on 18 February.
And the dog, called Bradley, will have to be muzzled and kept on a lead in public until his owners come back to the Magistrate’s Court on 30 May. Mrs de la Haye was also told that if she is in charge of Bradley she must not be in control of another dog at the same time.
The case was adjourned until 30 May.
