Refugee Week takes place every year in June and is marked by people across the world.
This year is the first time Jersey will take part, and a number of events have been planned including an art exhibition incorporating refugees’ work, poetry sessions and film nights.
The week is due to take place between Monday 19 and Sunday 25 June and has been organised by Jersey Cares; Refugee Aid Group.
Prior to the main events an art exhibition of work by refugees and Jersey artists is due to run at the Arts Centre from Monday 5 June.
