The 18-year-old came off his Aprilia 125 at the junction of St Saviour’s Road and Simon Place at about 10.20 pm on Wednesday.
No other vehicle was involved.
The teenager was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg. On Thursday morning, a Health spokesman said the motorcyclist was in a ‘stable’ condition.
