Islander dies in Majorca

The man, who is aged in his late 20s or early 30s and previously attended Haute Vallée and Highlands College, is understood to have been staying in the resort of Magaluf.

He was pronounced dead in the island’s capital, Palma, on Tuesday. Authorities have not named the man or released the cause of death.

The States police have confirmed they are aware of the death.

A Foreign and Commonwealth Office spokesman said: ‘We are providing support at this difficult time to the family of a British man who died in Palma, Spain, on 20 June.’
