However, restaurant owners the Boat House Group have announced that they will continue to operate the Tree House restaurant in St Brelade.
The Channel Island group’s existing portfolio will grow to 42 if the sale of the two eateries is granted.
Gavin Reid, managing director of Randalls, said the group could take over both restaurants by Easter and that they were hoping to carry out an extensive refurbishment of the upper floor of the Boat House.
He said: ‘This is a wonderful opportunity for Randalls to further strengthen our estate with two iconic venues and subsequently offer our numerous Randalls Loyalty Card holders improved diversity when looking to redeem or be rewarded with loyalty points.
‘Both outlets have their own unique identity and we will be looking to further enhance The Boat House with an immediate refurbishment programme to the Upper Deck restaurant to offer an improved level of dining befitting its beautiful location and wonderful views.’
